Hunter Thibodeaux joined Egenberg trial lawyers as an attorney in 2023.

After graduating cum laude from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Mass Communication in 2020, Hunter remained at LSU to study at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he graduated in 2023 with his J.D. as well as a Diploma in Comparative Law.

During his time at LSU Law, he received CALI awards for having the highest grades in Legal Research and Writing I as well as in International Human Rights. Hunter served on LSU Law’s Board of Advocates and competed on the Manfred Lachs Space Law moot court team as well as on the Phillip C. Jessup International Law moot court team. During his 3L year, he also participated in the Wrongful Conviction Clinic, a collaboration between LSU Law and the Innocence Project of New Orleans which allows students to be sworn in as student attorneys and assist incarcerated individuals who may have been wrongfully convicted in their post-conviction proceedings.

During his 3L summer, Hunter clerked with Egenberg Trial Lawyers and was eager to return after graduation to continue his career with the firm.

In his spare time, Hunter enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as his dog Beverly.
