Emily Padgett joined Egenberg Trial Lawyers in 2021. Her primary practice areas are personal injury and criminal defense.
After graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, Ms. Padgett graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a B.A. in political science. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While at Loyola, Ms. Padgett was a member of the Loyola Law Review and on the editorial board as Candidate Development and Symposium Director. Ms. Padgett is also published in the Loyola Law Review 2019 Spring Volume. She was a member of the St. Thomas More Inn of Court and served as a research assistant to Professor Monica Hof Wallace. She is also a member of the Loyola Law Review Advisory Committee. After law school, Ms. Padgett served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans and as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Laurie A. White in Criminal District Court.
In her free time, Ms. Padgett enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets George and Watson. She also enjoys Pilates, interior design and traveling.
