Daniel Levy joined Egenberg Trial Lawyers in 2022. Raised in the New Orleans Area, Daniel obtained his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and began his practice in 2013. Daniel is licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
Prior to attending law school, Daniel graduated from Tulane University with a degree in creative writing in 2005. After graduating and enduring Hurricane Katrina, Daniel worked for several years as a trial assistant at a Dallas, Texas law firm before returning home to New Orleans to pursue his own legal studies.
Daniel’s practice has encompassed maritime law, personal injury, construction litigation, and criminal defense. In addition to his experience in private practice, Daniel was honored to serve as law clerk for the Honorable Judge Darryl Derbigny at Criminal District Court for the Parish of Orleans for several years.
In his free time, Daniel is a musician and music enthusiast, playing and attending shows around the New Orleans metro area. He also enjoys spending time with his dogs, his friends, and his family. Daniel is a local with a deep and personal understanding of the unique culture and the peculiar challenges, both legal and otherwise, that are an indelible part of life in this vibrant and boisterous city.
